In Crete for the first time, renowned Greek designers inspired by and globally promoting the Minoan civilisation

Renowned Greek designers and creators, distinguished archaeologists, scientists and journalists participate as speakers at an event organised in the frame of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.

The event, held at the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, marks the launch of a parallel exhibition showcasing original contemporary creations, inspired by the Minoan civilisation, and is accompanied by workshops of ancient techniques. During the event, the Regional Governor of Crete Stavros Arnaoutakis and the President of Branding Heritage Katerina Frentzou, will honour the internationally renowned Greek designer Sophia Kokosalaki for her contribution to the promotion of the Greek heritage and her Cretan origin.
